League of Women Voters Meeting

Today we met at the home of member Aparna Dubey. Thank you for your gracious hospitality. Our President Beth Hall welcomed everyone to the meeting and we all introduced ourselves to members and guests. Our next meeting is March 14th-details will be forthcoming by email and also our web-site. Please mark your calendars.

Our speaker today was Mr. Peter Maize. He is a long time resident of Hong Kong . He is a journalist and author. His book a novel is titled "Zoom Out". Peter spoke to us today on his overview of Hong Kong history since the early 1970’s. His talk also included stories and antidotes of his travels and experiences in China. Presently he makes television documentaries which are aired in China.
