April Meeting - Nature Conservancy Minutes and Pictures

April 11, 2006


Our meeting today was held at the Hong Kong Convention Center. Our speaker was Mr. Cliff Wallace and the topic was The Nature Conservancy and the Yunnan Province. He presented a wonderful slide presentation of his trip throughout this area of China. Special guests included Mr. David Boyd-Thomas, Director of the Nature Conservancy in Hong Kong and his colleague Ms. Doris Ma. David answered questions from our members and gave us more details about his job with the conservancy in Hong Kong and throughout the world. Our next meeting will be on May 9, 2006. We will end the 2005/2006 League Year with this meeting. Our new slate of board members will be announced for the forthcoming 2006/2007 year which will commence in September. Please give your consideration to program ideas and topics and also hosting our monthly meetings.
